Is it Paul Haggis? I thought it was Marc Forster, director of Monster's Ball. Which means you could substitute the name easily.

Me wrong. Tony Goldwyn, who directed the pre-Aragorn Viggo movie A Walk On The Moon, directed Last Kiss from a Haggis script. I rather liked Walk On The Moon, btw. Sadly, Marc Forster directed Stranger Than Fiction, the new movie in which Emma Thompson is trying to kill off Will Ferrell, whom she mistakenly believes is her own fictional creation. I was excited to see this movie, but then Marc Forster went and directed it.
